The walls of this XIIIth century Monastery hide almost eight hundred years of history since its consecration in 1218.
Through all its construction you may appreciate the main features of the Cistercian architecture.
The Church is the central building with an annex cloister around which the different monastic chambers distribute:the Chapter House, the wine cellar and the grain store or warehouse, the kitchen, the Refectory and warming house.
You will also visit the Wine Museum, O.D. Calatayud and part of this area’s Wine Route, nicely enabled in what was the old monks winery, as well as the Carriages Hall and the “History of Chocolate” Exhibition.
